Right here, right now, I really need the right person to help me.

I have an impressive selection of ailments which naturally means my health can vary hourly.
This does not mean that I want to be stuck at home.

Your job would be to help, support and motivate me to manage the hurdles that life puts in my way.

I am looking for a Personal Assistant who would support me at home, to attend appointments and with social and leisure activities. I am visually impaired and so it is essential that you follow instruction accurately. This is a permanent post.

• I require support with paperwork and communication due to my visual impairment
• It is essential that you are comfortable with supporting me to take medication properly
• Driver with use of own car advantageous
• Must have flexible availability
• Previous experience of disability desirable
• Good communication skills and sense of humour essential.
• Computer literate and good command of written English
• You will need good general health to help with my mobility at times.
• PVG scheme membership or willingness to join the scheme essential

Rate of pay: starting rate of pay is £14.82 per hour.

Hours: average of 10 hours per week at flexible times to be arranged. Visits will generally be for a minimum of 2 hours.
Possible further hours available, these will be agreed with advance notice.
