Reports to: Facilities Manager - Mitie
Working Hours: Monday to Thurs 8:00AM - 3PM & Friday you get an early finish
Role Purpose:
To provide a high-quality, proactive housekeeping service across a three-floors at 2 City Quays for Thales, ensuring all staff eating areas and kitchenettes are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming throughout the day. The role also includes supporting short-notice hospitality requests and acting as a friendly, responsive point of contact for personal assistants (PAs) and other stakeholders within the building.
Key Responsibilities:
-Housekeeping & Facilities Support
-Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all kitchenettes and staff eating areas across the three floors.
-Replenish consumables (e.g., tea, coffee, milk, cutlery, napkins) and ensure equipment (e.g., microwaves, dishwashers, fridges) is clean and operational.
-Monitor and report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to the Facilities team promptly.
-Conduct regular checks throughout the day to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation are maintained.
-Hospitality Support
-Assist with setting up and clearing down meeting rooms for internal and client-facing events.
-Support ad hoc hospitality requests such as tea/coffee service, catering coordination, and room resets.
-Liaise with catering providers and ensure timely delivery and presentation of refreshments.
-Stakeholder Engagement
-Act as a visible and approachable point of contact for PAs and department coordinators.
-Respond promptly and professionally to short-term requests or queries related to housekeeping or hospitality.
-Build positive working relationships with building occupants to understand and anticipate their needs.

-Experienced in a housekeeping, facilities, or hospitality support role (corporate environment).
-Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
-Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy periods.
-Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
