Project Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

This company are currently recognized as the fastest growing groundworks contractor in the Midlands, specialising in delivering high-quality groundwork solutions across the West Midlands. Due to a large increase in work they are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Worcestershire.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be pivotal in managing costs and ensuring the financial viability of our diverse groundwork projects. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for groundwork projects.
  • Monitor project expenditures and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide financial advice to project teams.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the groundworks sector
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
