Have you got what it takes to wear our Halo and be our next Project Coordinator - Marketing and Communications?This may be a role in the leisure industry but the job is far from leisurely! Working within a thriving marketing team, you will help organise and create marketing campaigns in support of Halo’s vision of ‘Creating Healthier Communities’.This is a 22.5 hour per week post. Hybrid working - a mix of working from head office (Herefordshire), onsite and from home. The role offers a variety of creative tasks exposing you to every aspect of marketing to drive participation at 32 Halo leisure facilities. If you would like an informal discussion on this exciting opportunity contact Halo Marketing and Campaigns Manager, Jade Fields on jade.fields@haloleisure.org.uk Main duties:Develop content (visual and copy) to share across a wide range of communication channels to help encourage local communities to be more physically active.Proficient in recording and editing video content for social media platforms.Support the successful day to day running of the marketing and communications function.Support for the planning, managing, delivering and reviewing of Trust-wide, Regional and Facility-specific marketing campaigns.Marketing support to any campaign aimed at ‘creating healthier communities’.You will deliver marketing activity for Halo sites in Herefordshire, Bridgend County, Merthyr Tydfil, Shropshire, Highworth and Gloucester.Essential skills, abilities and qualifications:Previous experience in Marketing Suitable Marketing qualificationPhotography skillsVideo skills - content capture and editingPromotional copywritingPR and media liaisone-marketing initiativesProducing performance data and statisticsIT Skills - Google platforms, work, excel, powerpoint.Time managementCommitment to Halo Leisure values and behavioursGood organisational skillsExperience of dealing with members of the publicFlexible approachTeamworkGood attendance recordAbility to travel independently between leisure centres.Work unsocial hours when required.Desirable:Welsh speakerWorking in customer service environment or sales/target driven environmentWebsite maintenanceResearch techniquesEvent managementExperience within Health and Fitness industryData protection and GDPR awarenessCIM certificate or diplomaDatabase managementCopywritingPresentation skills.What we will offer:Pension scheme (with an option to upgrade).
