Title: Counter Sales / Parts Advisor
Reports to: Branch Manager
Job purpose:
To assist the Branch Manager (or designate) to achieve sales and Promotional
targets, within agreed guidelines whilst ensuring excellent customer service
and to carry specified tasks within the managers remit as required
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. To assist the Branch manager to motivate customer delivery staff, and
to implement excellent customer service
2. To assist on sales, margin, costs and business performance, according
to company requirements.
3. To assist the Branch Manager with the implementation of promotional
strategies and activities.
4. To assist the Branch manager to manage cash and debtors systems in
accordance with company procedures and policies,
5. To ensure all company stock is correctly and safely stored as per
manufacturers specifications
6. To ensure all paperwork pertaining to company stock is checked and
processed in line with company procedures
7. To ensure regular stock takes are carried out in line with company
procedures and all anomalies reported to the Branch Manager
8. To assist the Branch Manager with replenishment of shop merchandise
and maintaining a clean and tidy appearance and a professional image
for customers.
9. To assist the Branch manager to manage the upkeep and condition of
all equipment, fixtures and fleet of the individual business unit.
10. To assist the Branch manager to manage costs and overheads, and all
factors affecting the profitable performance of the business.
11.Liaise with and utilise support from suppliers, and other partners as
required.
12. To assist the Branch manager to manage, maintain and report as
necessary on all stock with extra focus on slow moving and
