Site Supervisor/Working Foreman
The Role
Supervise a team of operatives, ensure health and safety, and all work on site is carried out in accordance with the RAMS. To ensure the delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget and snag-free, being responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives.
Key Responsibilities
Health and Safety
- Promote the Barhale Cardinal Rules and establish safe working cultures and practices
- Comply with company procedures and legal obligations
- Promote and comply with environmental compliance
- Deliver the works safely
- Take charge of Near Miss Reporting
- Make sure HSE returns are done monthly
- Brief SOSB and TBT when required
Quality
- Promote best practice
- Comply with company procedures
- Ensure work is delivered defect/snag-free
Management
- Manage operatives and sub-contractors
- Organise work for the workforce and ensure all operatives are working in a safe manner
- Brief the workforce daily
- Keep good diary records
Key measures & targets:
- Reporting outputs and progress to site Management, implementing and maintaining a safe system of work
Key relationships:
- Operatives

Essential
- Extensive experience in a Supervisory/Foreman role within Civil Engineering
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
- Experience with deep drainage/manhole boxes installation/temporary work ground support/shaft experience
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Supervisor level 3 gold CSCS card
- First Aid
- NRSWA
- Confined Space ticket
- UK Driving License
- CAT and Genny
- Excellent communication skills
Desireable
- CPCS Dumper
- CPCS Slinger Signaller
- Water Hygiene
