About the RoleAs a Planning Surveyor, you'll be a technical subject matter expert driving the delivery of high-impact projects across multiple client programmes. From mobile network upgrades to solar PV and EV installations, and the continued rollout of StreetHub, you'll be at the forefront of planning innovation.
You'll manage a high volume of planning activity, working collaboratively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and delivery suppliers to secure the planning rights that make these projects possible.
️ Key Responsibilities
-Conduct site surveys and planning appraisals to assess project feasibility.
-Prepare and manage planning applications from inception to approval and appeal.
-Provide expert planning advice to stakeholders across multiple programmes.
-Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
-Manage delivery activity directly and through third-party suppliers.
What We're Looking For
-Proven experience in planning within the Telecoms sector.
-Strong working knowledge of the General Permitted Development Order (GPDO) and its application in telecoms.
-Familiarity with the Electronic Communications Code and its influence on planning and legal outcomes.
-A collaborative team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
-Ability to work across multiple client programmes and manage competing priorities.
