About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor:
Opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor to join the team at the PCSA stage of project on new build iconic stadium .
Responsibilities for Project Quantity Surveyor:
- Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Overseeing multiple subcontractor Packages ranging up to £30 million per package
- Reviewing contracts at pre order stage
- General commercial cost management / cost comparisons at tender stage
- Value engineering
Requirements for Project Quantity Surveyor:
- Minimum 5+ year's experience at a main contractor.
- Experience with major projects in excess of £ 30 million in value in the past on commercial ,leisure or government projects .
- Degree qualified or HNC / ONC in construction based and used to working on projects from initial pre construction phase thug to delivery .
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
The project is in the PCSA stage, and you will be joining in the existing team at this respected contractor to work on new build stand on an iconic stadium with associated conference rooms / hospitals and communal areas over the next 6 months in the pre construction phase ,
Ideally you will have PCSA experience and have worked on commercial schemes in the past with large RC frame / steel frame and ground works packages across the project .
Based in Hampshire you will working with the team and reporting to the Commercial Director at this key stage of the project ,The business has a great name in the industry and a solid reputation making them a very sought after company to work for with a friendly, dynamic and stable team.
