Crynodeb
HGV C+E Drivers will be delivering Pallets of Meat products to Cruise ships on Southampton Port. They will be driving a 40 ft refrigerated Class 1 boxed Articulated lorry.
The work starts at 6am and can be on any day Monday to Sunday.
£16.50 per hour PAYE or £20.00 per hour PAYE Umbrella
The HGV C+E driver will work together with the Transport manager to load all the Pallets of products using a manual pump truck.
They will then be asked to drive directly into the port and offload the pallets to the designated cruise ship.
This must be done in a very timely manner and check accurately to ensure all consignment is correct.
The work can often only take 3-4 hours but a full 8 hours will be paid.
During the week a driver may be asked to collect Pallets of stock from a cold store facility in Southampton and offload in the depot. This can be physically demanding.
Drivers must have previous commercial driving experience and must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
