Join our snack-loving team
We’re looking for a Line Lead to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.
About the role
As a Line Lead, you’ll play a key role in driving performance and continuous improvement on one of our production lines. You’ll lead a team of passionate colleagues, helping them deliver great results every day. From managing daily operations to solving problems and improving processes, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to make the snacks people love. You’ll work closely with other functions across the site, using lean manufacturing tools and data insights to reduce waste and boost efficiency. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading by example, this is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact.
What’s in it for you?
We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:
Annual bonus scheme, with a strong track record of overachievement
Comprehensive healthcare support – including Medicash Health Cash Plan or Private Healthcare, Digital GP, Best Doctors second opinion service and specialist cancer care
KP Pension Plan – contribution matching up to 7% of your salary
25 days holiday, plus the option to buy more
KP4ME – our online platform for benefits, discounts, wellbeing tools and more
What will you be doing?
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, setting clear goals and expectations each day
Manage the daily running of your production line, ensuring output, quality and efficiency targets are met
Use lean manufacturing tools to identify root causes, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement
Respond quickly to production issues, making confident decisions to minimise downtime and keep things moving
Champion food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards, making sure your area is audit-ready at all times
Collaborate with colleagues across Operations, Engineering, Technical and Supply Chain to deliver shared goals
Analyse performance data to spot trends, track KPIs and drive improvements
Support the development of IWS (Integrated Work System) principles, embedding a culture of ownership and problem solving
Who are we?
We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.
We’re committed to inclusion
We’re building a workplace where everyone belongs. If you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you – your unique perspective could be just what we need. And if there’s anything we can do to make the process easier for you, just let us know.
We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement – you know how to make things better, faster and smarter
Practical leadership experience – you’ve led teams before and know how to get the best out of people
Experience working with automated food production equipment – you’re confident around machinery and understand how it works
Mechanical aptitude – you’re comfortable diagnosing issues and working with Engineering to find solutions
Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and Health & Safety standards – you take compliance seriously
Calm, confident decision-making – you stay focused under pressure and make smart calls when it counts
Proficiency in analysing production data – you use insights to drive performance and spot opportunities
Bonus points for a formal lean or Six Sigma qualification and relevant mechanical qualification – but it’s not essential
