Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)
Reporting to: The Employer
Location: Wolverhampton WV4
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a Male living in the WV4 area of Wolverhampton who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 15.50 hours per week with all aspects of daily living.
Our client is registered blind and has recently had surgery on his back.
Main duties:
Social duties
Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends.
Attend medical appointments if required.
Do hobbies such as going bowling.
Accessing the local community.
Personal care: Support with personal care. Support with medication.
Domestic duties: Support with cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning and laundry.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.
Type of person that you/they are looking for:
Values: Someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality & diversity.
Specific requirements: Someone with previous care & support work experience.
Hours of work: 15.50 hours per week –
1.5 hours per day Monday to Friday + 8 hours per week social support.
Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour

Essential:
Driving licence
Car and appropriate insurance
Previous care & support experience
Confidentiality
Good at building relationships
Computer literate
Good communicator
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
