Support primary pupils with ASD and complex needs in a nurturing school environment.

About the school:
This is a supportive primary school in Peckham that caters for children with autism and complex needs. Staff work closely together to provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every pupil is supported to reach their full potential.

About the role:
The SEN Teaching Assistant will work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting children with autism, communication difficulties, and other complex needs. The role involves assisting with learning, behaviour support, and personal care where required. Full training and support will be provided.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Support children with ASD and complex needs in class
- Promote independence, communication, and social skills
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement learning plans
- Provide a safe and positive learning environment

Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally ASD and complex needs
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to use initiative and adapt to changing needs
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
