Our client, a leading educational institution in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join their dynamic team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of £90 to £95 per day, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students who face challenges with their behaviour, helping them to develop positive attitudes, build self-esteem, and improve their overall well-being. The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create personalised intervention plans that address each student's unique needs and help them to overcome barriers to learning.

Key responsibilities of the Behaviour Mentor include:
- Assessing students' behavioural needs and developing individualised support plans
- Implementing evidence-based strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce disruptive incidents
- Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring sessions to help students develop social and emotional skills
- Collaborating with teachers to ensure that behaviour support strategies are consistently applied across all settings
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and regularly communicating with parents and carers
- Contributing to the development of whole-school behaviour policies and procedures

To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in education, psychology, social work, or a related field
- Proven experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviour
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the SEND Code of Practice and the Equality Act 2010
