An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time post as a Community and Wellbeing Officer, to join West Lancashire Borough Council as part of the Community and Wellbeing Service.
You will join an innovative team that is passionate about supporting, inspiring and connecting people to opportunities and services which enable them to live healthy, happy lives.
The post holder will support effective place-based working that leads to improved health and wellbeing in the communities of West Lancashire. Ensuring residents benefit from approaches that draw on the full range of resources available.
We are looking for a person whose personal values, strengths and abilities align with the Council's shared vision and behaviours and who can help us achieve our corporate priorities alongside our partners and communities.
The Community and Wellbeing Officer will be an integral post which works collaboratively to develop and implement innovative, preventative, health, wellbeing and physical activity pathways and interventions to address local needs.
