We have an opportunity for an Animal Care Assistant/Receptionist to join our team at our practice in Northwich.
The job holder will provide assistance to the veterinary nurses in the care of our patients and general maintenance of the surgery premises alongside helping to provide a professional, effective and organised client reception.
This is a full-time role working according to a rota with a 30 min lunch break each day between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Previous animal handling experience would be a distinct advantage alongside prior experience of working in a veterinary setting. Previous experience in providing excellent customer service is preferred, although not necessarily within the veterinary industry. Full training will be provided.
There is the potential that this role could lead to an SVN Apprenticeship in the future so ideally the candidate will have 5 GCSE passes in Maths, English, Science and two more subjects.
