As the successful candidate your duties include but are not limited to: Providing specialist high-quality person-centred primary care which always considers peoples safety, privacy and dignity using high quality clinical knowledge that is evidence based, with use of core healthcare guidelines. Being responsible for the delivery of appropriate treatment, screening, and advice to patients within their professional competence and in accordance with (DPHC) clinical guidelines and protocols Providing safe, evidence-based, efficient, and individualised patient care Undertaking preventative health programmes such as travel and vaccination clinics, new patients screening, audiometry. Undertaking technical nursing treatments and procedures for patients complex/specialist healthcare needs (e.g., wound care, sutures removal, Electrocardiograms (ECGs), Cytology, Audiometry, Ear Care) Providing specialist advice and support to patients, their families and other healthcare professionals following assessment, diagnosis and through treatment Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for additional job duties and responsibilities. To be eligible to be considered for this role, qualifications and memberships detailed must be held in full, prior to submitting your application. The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence of the following: Professional/clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree/diploma level. Registered Nurse with live registration on Part 1 Subsection 1 (RN1/RN(A)) of the UK NMC register. Applicants with NMC PIN in Progress (NMC PiP) As part of the MOD standard pre-employment checks proof of NMC Registration and PIN number is required. Applicants who can demonstrate that they have successfully completed their Nursing Degree (Adult) Level 6 or Nursing Diploma (Adult) Level 5; but are awaiting their PIN number are eligible to apply for this post. If successful applicant(s) will start as a pre-registered nurse AfC Band 3 until NMC Registration is confirmed and received. One receipt of PIN pay will be adjusted to AfC Band 5. Please note the salary will be pro-rata where part time hours are undertaken. Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed.
