Your new company
A logistics companywith a strong presence across the UK, are looking for an Assistant ManagementAccountant to join their team on a temporary contract. This is an excellentopportunity to be part of a fast-paced and commercially focused environment.
Your new role
You willplay a key role in supporting the Finance Manager with management accounts. Yourresponsibilities will include:
- Completionof weekly and month-end management accounts
- Reconciliationof accounts to Oracle monthly, including accruals, prepayments, and invoicingrequests
- Maintenanceand reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
- Postingmonthly charges to the P&L account
- Creationand upkeep of management reporting spreadsheets
- HandlingAP/AR queries and resolving parked/blocked invoices
- Providingad hoc analysis to support financial decision-making
What you'll need to succeed
You willhave:
- Provenexperience in a similar management accounting role
- CIMA /ACCA studier or AAT qualified or equivalent
- StrongExcel skills and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
- Excellentattention to detail and analytical skills
- Abilityto work independently and as part of a team
- Aproactive approach to problem-solving
