The Opportunity
Were seeking a motivated and organised Apprenticeship Recruitment Officer to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. In this role, youll be the connector between aspiring apprentices and employers, guiding candidates through the recruitment process and supporting businesses in finding the right talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote apprenticeship opportunities to prospective learners across schools, colleges, and community settings
- Support candidates with applications, CVs, and interview preparation
- Book interviews and coordinate schedules between candidates and employers
- Follow up with employers to gather feedback, confirm placements, and maintain strong relationships
- Work closely with employers to understand recruitment needs and match suitable candidates
- Maintain accurate records and track recruitment activity against targets
- Represent LSEC at careers fairs, open days, and outreach events
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
What Youll Bring
- Experience in recruitment, careers advice, or learner engagement
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for helping learners succeed
- Knowledge of apprenticeships and the FE sector (desirable)
- Confidence using CRM systems and digital tools
