What you'll be doing
As the Head of Broadcast Technology at the UK Parliament, you'll take the lead in shaping the future of how Parliament connects with the public through cutting-edge broadcast and digital systems. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, dynamic team at the heart of democracy, delivering high-quality live and on-demand coverage of Parliamentary proceedings to millions of viewers across the UK and beyond.
You'll oversee Parliament's broadcast technology infrastructure, managing the lifecycle of critical systems, embedding new tech, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Working closely with our Sound & Vision contractor, external consultants, and internal teams like the Parliamentary Digital Service, you'll set and deliver the PBU's technology strategy, balancing no-fail daily operations with forward-thinking innovation.
If you're a broadcast professional with deep technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and a passion for delivering impactful, audience-facing services, this is your chance to shape the future of Parliamentary broadcasting.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis.
