We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join our client in Canterbury on a temporary basis. You'll be responsible for keeping multiple sites safe, tidy, and well-maintained, carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks.
The role
- General maintenance: decorating, carpentry, plumbing, flooring, and window/door repairs
- Handling reactive repairs and prioritising urgent jobs
- Reporting site issues such as waste clearance, pest control, and damage
- Liaising with contractors and ensuring all works meet health & safety standards
- Recording completed work and supporting planned refurbishments
About you
- Proven experience in a maintenance or handyman role
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Basic IT skills to update maintenance records
The Details
- Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday
- Contract: Temporary
- The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
