Recruit4staff are representing a well-established fast-growing engineering business in their search for a Electrical Test & Installation Engineer to work in Chester
Job Details:
• Pay: £15 to £17 per hour
• Hours of Work: Days 8am to 4:30pm (Mon-Thur), 8am to 3pm (Fri)
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Uplift in pay for on-site work, overtime opportunities, pension
Job Role: The successful Electrical Test & Installation Engineer will be responsible for LV panel and substation auxiliary systems testing. Key duties include continuity testing of cabling, ensuring compliance with site-specific requirements, performing site installations when required, and carrying out modifications to systems and equipment.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
• Proven experience testing, installing and modifying LV switchgear
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Recognised qualification in Electrical Installations or Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or Equivalent)
• Valid UK Driving License
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
• ECS Card
• Experience liaising with clients and contractors on site-based projects
