About the Role

In this role, you will:

To oversee the development of a sanctuary scheme pilot which aims to keep victims and survivors of domestic abuse safe in their own homes.
To work with IDAS’ Community and Safe Accommodation services to assess risk and provide a holistic package of support for victims and survivors.
To develop referral pathways for partner agencies to access the scheme and work collaboratively to keep victims and survivors safe.
To monitor the pilot, being creative and innovative to reduce barriers for anyone needing to access the service.
To provide regular reports on outcomes and challenges.
To engage with and present to a range of stakeholders.
To ensure that anyone contacting IDAS receives excellent customer care.
To provide support to a small team of admin staff and volunteers and to work closely with the Hub Lead to grow a team of volunteers.
To ensure that the services are delivered in line with IDAS policies and procedures promoting high standards in all areas of work.
To work closely with all Leads and Managers to support innovation and change management.
To develop excellent relationships with our partners on the contract and external agencies.
To purchase and monitor target hardening stock, ensuring that levels are adequately maintained and distributed.
Provide practical and emotional support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse
