My client, a well-established, community-focused veterinary practice, is seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team in a charming Lancashire market town.
This practice is committed to providing top-quality care to beloved animal patients, all with everything you need right on your doorstep.
About the Role
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be accountable for patient care within the clinic, ensuring you always deliver exceptional standards to clients, patients, and colleagues. You’ll work alongside an incredibly supportive Branch Partner and Practice Manager, as well as a welcoming team of 7 day and 3 night RVNs, 6 Vets, 4 CCAs and 1 VCA.
The practice is a 24-hour centre, ensuring continuity of care and total dedication to clients. Facilities include ECG, Endoscope, Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, In-house Laboratory and much more, giving you everything you need to manage a varied and rewarding caseload.
What We’re Looking For
• A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical skills
• A certificate holder (or working towards one) with a particular interest in hospital-based work
• Experience or a certificate in internal medicine would be highly desirable
• A passion for working up and managing complex medical cases and inpatients
• A team player who thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment
The Rota
• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 8:30am – 7:30pm
• 1 in 6 full weekends on the rota
