Commercial Catering Gas Engineer

  • Territory Covered: Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Catering Gas Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a field-based role covering Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex, ideal for someone located near Ipswich. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial catering equipment at client sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering gas appliances
  • Fault-finding and diagnostics
  • Ensuring compliance with gas safety regulations
  • Liaising with clients and providing excellent customer service
  • Completing job reports and documentation accurately
  • Occasional installation of pipework (if qualified)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • COMCAT 1, 3, 5
  • CCCN1 - Core Commercial Catering Natural Gas
  • Electrical Fault-finding on catering equipment (for example: fryers, ovens, washers etc.)
  • NG to LPG Conversion Certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in pipework installation
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
