Waking Night Children’s Residential Support Worker – Liverpool
Location: Liverpool
Pay: £13.51 per hour (unqualified) / £15.84 per hour (Level 3 in Residential Childcare)
Hours: Flexible – Up to Full-Time Available
Ratio: Supporting a Child on a 2:1 Basis
P4 Recruitment are currently recruiting compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Waking Night Residential Support Workers to join our team supporting a child in a children’s residential setting on a 2:1 basis in Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life, working within a supportive team, with flexible shift options up to full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide overnight care and supervision to ensure the child’s safety and emotional well-being
Respond to the child’s needs with empathy and professionalism throughout the night
Work collaboratively with the day team to ensure consistency and continuity of care
Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports
Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a children’s residential home is essential
Very clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work as part of a team and independently during night shifts
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable and qualifies for the higher rate of pay
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children
