Qualified nursery nurse required for busy nursery. Must have Level 2 or above childcare qualification.
An understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage, Birth to Five Matters and other child care guidance is necessary for this position. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and will be able to join our friendly team, building good relationships with our children, families and staff team.
The role of a Nursery Practitioner is wide and varied but you will be
Working effectively with colleagues to continually develop educational and inspirational learning opportunities for children
·Be accountable for your own key children to include working in partnership with parents/carers
·Be responsible for ensuring all children’s personal needs are met, including observing, planning and evaluation
·Contribute to Room and Nursery planning
Undertake risk assessments and maintain a tidy and clean environment
Nursery Practitioner essential skills & qualifications:
·Full and relevant Early Years qualification Level 2 or above
·Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS
·Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
·Understanding of the Ofsted inspection
