This new part-time (0.5 FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 28 August 2026.
Salary will be £26,257 per annum pro rata on Grade C subject to knowledge, skills and experience.
It is anticipated the hours for this role will be worked Monday – Wednesday (to be confirmed with successful candidate prior to the start date).
This role is on campus (Streatham) at the Sarah Turvill Multifaith Centre.
The anticipated interview date is 11th September.
Summary of the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and friendly person to act as a first point of contact for the Multifaith Chaplaincy team. The postholder would be working with the 0.5FTE existing Administrative Assistant (currently working reduced hours) and reporting to the Multifaith Chaplaincy Coordinator, supporting the team of mainly volunteer Chaplains of varied faith and worldview traditions.
This post will lead on social media and internal University communications, including website updating. The postholder would also be responsible for assisting chaplains with expenses and purchasing.
Great personal and written communications skills are essential, as well as a friendly and empathetic manner. Excellent knowledge of different social media platforms and ability to create online content are essential.
