North Devon | £38,000 per annum plus Bonus | Permanent | Monday to Friday | 8am - 5pmAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join a busy and reputable bodyshop based in North Devon. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality body repairs on damaged vehicles, working with a range of materials and using specialist tools and equipment to return vehicles to pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:- Dismantle and repair vehicles in line with job cards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Replace damaged panels and undertake chassis and framework repairs where necessary.
- Operate welding, jigs, and other bodyshop tools safely and to specification.
- Maintain accurate records of work and communicate effectively with the wider workshop team.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Attend training as required to stay up to date with modern repair techniques.
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater in a bodyshop or accident repair centre.
- Competent in panel repair, panel replacement, and light chassis repairs.
- Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining high repair standards.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Body Repair (desirable).
