Your new company
I am currently working with a PE-backed business that is requiring a senior financial accountant to join the UK finance team. This role is critical to improving the quality of reporting, resolving accounting issues and supporting SOX compliance across UK entities.
Your new role
This role you will be required to -
- Prepare statutory financial statements for UK entities
- Perform balance sheet and fixed asset reconciliations
- Manage complex revenue recognition processes
- Oversee IFRS 16 lease accounting
- Support SOX compliance and implement financial controls
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to resolve legacy issues
- Contribute to group-level reporting under IFRS
- Ensure local statutory reporting under FRS 101 / FRS 102
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA/CAANZ/ICAEW or ACCA qualified accountant
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Proven experience in SOX environments
- Industry experience solving complex accounting issues
- Solid understanding of IFRS 16, FRS 101/102 and UK GAAP
