Three exciting opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic, dynamic and forward-thinking individuals to join our team as Communities and Events Officer. You will help drive the programming and delivery of an exciting and wide range of events in East Lindsey District Council, as well as supporting community groups to develop and deliver their events. You will also support colleagues across the South & East Lincolnshire Councils partnership area.
Events are proven to increase footfall and dwell time in our town centres. You will seek out new and innovative ways through the areas tourism, heritage, arts and culture to build on existing events and increase visitor numbers to our coastal and market towns.
The Communities and Events Officers will work as part of a wider Communities and Events team and will play an important role in helping develop town centre initiatives through events. Working collaboratively with new and existing partners and stakeholders will be crucial to increase delivery and capacity across both geographical areas.
What we need from you:
• Experience of organising and delivering safe large scale outdoor events
• Experience of writing Event Management Plans
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, ideally in a related field
• Ability to work flexibly, including some weekend and evenings
This position is a shared role within the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and forms part of the S113 agreement between the participating partnership Councils in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement 1st October 2021.

ABOUT US: Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council have formed the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. The largest Council Partnership in the country. Since October 2021, the Partnership Councils have been working closely to deliver improved services to the communities in the sub-region and already there have been many positive outcomes.
