Nursery Deputy Manager

Full-time: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between: 7am-6pm

Annual salary: £29,832.3

Overview of job role:

To be a proactive leader who supports and delivers confidently the EYFS. To provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which babies and young children are supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. To offer full and practical support in the day to day running of the nursery. To use their own initiative, have good organisational skills and be able to manage a team confidently. To be flexible to the needs of the business. Must have a minimum Early Years qualification of a level 3 diploma in childcare, equivalent or higher to apply for this position. Flexible to work between: 7am - 6pm, Monday - Friday, to be flexible to the needs of the business.

Any copies of safeguarding/ child protection training and level.

The interview:

It is important to us that you feel as comfortable and confident working within our environment as we are with you working within the nursery with children. We will show you around our facilities. Safety is paramount with working with children so ensure you come prepared and wear appropriate clothing.

The interview is led by our nursery manager and supported by a senior member of the team. We will ask you questions on the following areas:

Your history and experience in the Early Years sector
Training and qualification(s)
Knowledge and understand of the EYFS (primary & specific areas, Quality of education)
Safeguarding and procedure in dealing with ‘what to do if you are worried a child has been abused’ Prevent Duty & British Values.
