Facilities Manager
Contract – 6 months
Location – Hybrid (Midlands, 3 days per week on-site)
Rate – £26 per hour (PAYE, Inside IR35)
We are supporting a consultancy working with a large, multi-site estate who are seeking a Facilities Manager for a 6-month contract. The role will focus on ensuring that sites remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose, while managing supplier performance and delivering small-scale works.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day facilities management services across a defined portfolio of properties.
Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance (H&S, fire safety, business resilience).
Manage supplier relationships, monitoring performance and resolving issues to maintain service standards.
Act as first point of contact for customers and stakeholders across your allocated sites.
Support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works, and manage small-scale projects (up to £50k).
Ensure effective governance of budgets, spend and reporting.
Skills & Experience
Strong background in facilities management, ideally across multi-site operations.
Knowledge of compliance, asset management, contractor management and statutory requirements.
Experience delivering maintenance and small project works.
Excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills.
Confident with digital tools such as Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint or Power BI beneficial.
Full UK driving licence required.
Desirable:
IWFM member (or equivalent, e.g. RICS/CEng).
NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (or willingness to achieve).
Awareness of Asbestos, Legionella, Fire Safety and CDM (training provided if needed).
