Please see attached Job description for further details of the role. The post-holder will work a trainee as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering, high-quality; brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties including anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties within a school setting. The post-holder will work with children, Young People and Families with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering, under supervision, high quality, outcome-informed/ focused, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing, mild to moderate anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties. The post-holder will also oversee elements of participation. This includes engaging all service users in various ways to gain feedback, participate in shaping services and running appropriate participationgroups within the services. The post holder will be required to be creative, flexible, adaptable, professional and motivated in all aspects of their role, both in clinical delivery and within the development of the service provision. Where appropriate to provide support for the work of other members of the multidisciplinary team and signpost children, young people and families to appropriate support. There is also a role for the potholder to promote the whole school approach to mental health and support teaching staff wellbeing. This is a fixed term post for one year, with the intention that on completion applicants will be able to apply for qualified EMHP posts available within the service once the course is complete. To work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team to enhance the mental and emotional well-being of children and young people within Nottinghamshire. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
