About the Role

Are you a motivated and strategic sales professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a National Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join a global logistics organisation at the forefront of supply chain and delivery solutions.

In this exciting role, you'll take full ownership of the sales process - from lead generation and prospecting to deal closure and ongoing account management. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, developing key accounts, and building strong, long-term client relationships. You'll be supported by a high-performing team and equipped with extensive resources to help you thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Support and grow existing client relationships to drive long-term revenue.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Monitor and manage account performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  • Work collaboratively across internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.

About You

You're a driven and customer-focused professional with a solid background in B2B field sales. With a passion for logistics and an eye for growth opportunities, you thrive on delivering value to clients while meeting and exceeding performance goals.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in Air and Ocean Freight, with knowledge of Road Freight.
  • Proven success in B2B field sales and new business development.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident in creating and delivering persuasive presentations.
  • A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Motivated by both individual and team targets.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (held for at least two years).
