More detail about the role The successful candidate will work with the team to provide an efficient maintenance service carrying out work of a wide-ranging nature, with an aim to support a high quality, flexible, dynamic and experienced shift team. This will be in the areas of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), remedial repairs, alterations, testing and installation of engineering services, equipment and fixtures maintained by the Estates Department. You will work on a wide range of services, equipment and services across all areas within the Trusts estate. This will require the individual to possess a fully skilled, self-motivated and proactive ability working safely but effectively as a valued member of the Estates team. Skilled in fault finding, often in circumstances where a limited amount of initial information is provided, the post holder will also ensure that the work they carry out is completed effectively to ensure that patients, staff and visitors are provided with a clean safe and pleasant environment suitable for the Trust and service provided. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the team ensuring that the Trusts Visions and Values are maintained at all times, focusing on engineering excellence, integrity and support for the wider Estates team. We are looking for a fully skilled electrical or mechanical tradesperson to join our team based at the Royal Devon in Exeter with a salary of £31,046 - £37,796, plus shift enhancements Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is covered by a 4 person shift team (A,B,C & D) over a 4 week period, each letter depicts the shift rotation for each person either early shift, late shift, day shift or off duty.
