ARC Recruitment is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join a fast-paced warehouse environment as a Sewing Machinist / Cutter. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic who thrives in a busy, team-oriented setting.
The Role:
We are looking for a candidate with skills in one of two key areas:
Experienced Sewing Machinist: You will be an experienced machinist with a background in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating excellent pattern cutting skills and the ability to take accurate measurements.
CNC Cutter Operator: We need someone who is willing to learn and operate a CNC cutting machine. This is a user-friendly system, and we will provide full training for the right candidate.
This role requires a team player who is good with numbers, has a sharp eye for detail, and can prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a sewing machine or a CNC cutting machine.
Taking accurate measurements and working with patterns.
Prioritizing work and using your own initiative.
Working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ensuring accuracy and a high level of quality in all work.
Collaborating with the team and helping with other duties as required.
Details:
Pay: £12.21 per hour.
Contract: Temporary to permanent.
Location: Due to our rural location, having your own transport is essential.
Additional Roles: We are also recruiting for upholsterers.
