We are seeking a dynamic and committed Teaching Fellow in Psychology to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching portfolio, including areas such as research methods, health and wellbeing, and environmental psychology. This fixed-term post is to provide teaching cover during a funded academic secondment and is available for up to 0.4 FTE from 1 September 2025 to 19 May 2026.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant and supportive academic community within the School of Psychology, part of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science. The postholder will contribute to teaching and learning in various settings, including (but not limited to) small tutorial groups, seminars, workshops, and practical classes. Responsibilities may also include developing or updating teaching materials, setting and marking assessments, and providing timely feedback to students. In addition, the Teaching Fellow may be involved in recruitment, outreach, and other student-facing support activities.
This role would suit a current PhD candidate or recent graduate with teaching experience. While the post is available at 0.4 FTE, we are open to appointing more than one candidate on a fractional basis, up to the combined FTE. Swansea University is dedicated to providing an excellent student experience. We are looking for individuals with a passion for education who are committed to innovative, student-centred teaching.
