A lovely family based in Christchurch, Dorset, is seeking a Part-time Nanny to provide dedicated care for their charming toddler. They are looking for someone energetic, proactive, and easy-going, with a strong focus on developmental stages, who can establish a routine for their child while managing all general childcare duties. The nanny will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the whole family and must be mindful of the child’s dairy allergy. As the family has three small dogs, a pet-friendly candidate would be ideal. A driver with a full licence would be an advantage, although not essential. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: 2 days per week, ideally Tuesday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and flexible on the second day, Thursday or Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, approximately 18 hours per week
Duties include:
Establish and maintain a consistent routine with the child
Assist with general childcare duties, including engaging in interactive play at home and in the garden
Support educational activities and accompany the child on outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Assist with morning and evening routines
Prepare and serve lunch for the child
Settle the child down for naps and ensure restful sleep
Carry out light housekeeping duties related to the child
Clean the kitchen and complete small household tasks while the child is resting
Prepare and cook meals for the whole family
They are looking for someone to hire on the 25th of August 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
