We’re on a mission to become a truly data-driven organisation using insight to make smarter decisions, enhance our services, and create a better experience for customers and colleagues alike.
As our Business Intelligence Manager, you’ll be the strategic lead for BI across the organisation. You’ll set the vision, build capability, and ensure our data analytics function delivers real value — from operational dashboards to predictive analytics.
You’ll be joining our Data & Technology team, a collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking team that thrives on solving complex challenges. We share knowledge, support each other’s growth, and work with the latest tools and technologies to deliver real impact. As part of this team, you’ll have the freedom to innovate while knowing you have the backing of highly skilled colleagues who share your passion for using data to make a difference.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategic BI leadership – Lead the development and delivery of BI aligned to organisational priorities, taking ownership of enterprise KPIs and performance measurement.
Stakeholder engagement – Translate complex data into actionable insight, communicating clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Self-service analytics enablement – Build a culture of empowered, data-literate users through well-governed self-service BI tools and training.
Modern data architecture – Oversee the migration from legacy reporting to modern, cloud-based BI platforms and architectures.
Technical excellence & data science – Direct advanced BI delivery using Microsoft BI stack, Azure data services, and predictive analytics.
Team leadership & development – Coach and develop a high-performing BI team, fostering a strong internal BI community.
We’re looking for someone with:
Proven experience leading BI strategy, development, and delivery in a complex organisation.
Expertise with the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SSRS, SSIS) and Azure data services.
Strong understanding of data engineering, data science, and modern data warehousing.
Experience driving self-service BI adoption and embedding evidence-based decision-making.
Skilled communicator, able to bridge the gap between technical teams and senior decision-makers.
Track record of migrating to modern, scalable BI solutions.
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum delivery approaches.
If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and be a trusted ambassador for Moat, we’d love to hear from you.
