Meet and greet patients in a warm, welcoming manner (front of house in dispensary) Handling of prepared prescriptions to patients Collection of prescription charges/checking patient exemption statements Cash handling and daily reconciliation Processing and bundling prescriptions for the prescription pricing authority Unpack and store pharmaceutical deliveries Working with the dispensers in assisting with stock control Ensuring that drugs are received and stored in an appropriate manner in accordance with the manufacturers instructions Ensuring that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature once received Signing off invoices and forwarding for payment to the appropriate staff member Following up credit notes and queries relating to dispensary stock prior to payment Supporting the Dispensary Team with assisting in preparing prescriptions Undertaking other reasonable duties within the framework of the post
