Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Accountant to be based in Dingwall. This role would suit a Fully Qualified Accountant or someone part qualified with extensive practice experience. This role offers an excellent career opportunity within a leading accountancy firm in the North of Scotland.
Duties include:
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for a wide range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Preparation and submission of Tax returns.
Actively engaging with clients and spending time with them, seeking to genuinely add value.
Providing support and guidance to clients to ensure best practice and efficient working.
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
Identifying opportunities for the practice to add value to clients.
Person Specification:
We are looking for a qualified or part qualified chartered accountant (either ICAS or ACCA) or an individual with experience of preparing statutory accounts within a practice environment.
Salary is dependent on the level of post-qualification experience.
Experience of reviewing accounts and providing training and guidance to staff.
Strong technical accounting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Ability to manage and develop client relationships.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar.
