Assembly Worker
Location: HD8 (Huddersfield)
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 4:45pm – Friday 7.45 to 11.30am (37.75 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour
Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assembly Worker to join a production team. The role involves working on specialised machinery to assemble high-quality metal conveyor chains used across a range of industrial applications. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery and tools to assemble metal conveyor chains to specification.
Ensure accuracy and quality standards are maintained throughout the assembly process.
Conduct visual inspections of finished products and report any defects.
Work safely, following company health & safety policies and guidelines.
Support general workshop duties, including material handling and housekeeping.
Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential (training provided).
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work with machinery and hand tools safely.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Physically fit to handle materials and perform manual tasks.
