The successful candidate will be required to have or develop an in-depth understanding of remotely sensed imagery, imagery workflows and terrain datasets and their editing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Editing and producing high-quality terrain datasets and contributing to future terrain capabilities.
Measuring vertical obstructions using stereo and mono imagery to support aviation safety.
Managing and distributing imagery to support product creation for operations and strategic projects.
Handling, geopositioning, and archiving digital imagery and related products.
Assessing the accuracy of imagery and terrain data.
Providing expert advice and data products to internal teams and wider Defence customers.
Performing quality checks to ensure all outputs meet required standards.
This role has no line management responsibilities.
