We’re looking for a dedicated Residential Child Care Worker to join our team at the Ade Adepitan Short Break Centre – a centre of excellence supporting children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex health needs, physical disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders.
What you’ll do:
• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people aged up to 19
• Take responsibility for shift leadership and key working for individuals
• Support care plans, helping young people achieve their goals
• Deliver services in line with The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards
• Provide complex physical care and specialist support for children with disabilities
We’re looking for someone with:
• A Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
• Experience working with children and young people with disabilities
• Strong commitment, integrity, and resilience
• A positive “can do” attitude with excellent teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work unsociable hours and provide continuity of care
