About the Role
We are currently recruiting committed and compassionate Support Workers to join our residential learning disabilities service at Warwick. You’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives in a safe and supportive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the social care sector.
Responsibilities
• Deliver day-to-day care including personal support, medication administration, and meal preparation
• Promote independence and encourage involvement in social and community activities
• Build strong, trusting relationships with service users
• Follow individual care plans and record observations and daily progress
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external healthcare professionals
Requirements
• Previous experience in a care or support role is advantageous but not essential
• A patient, empathetic, and respectful approach to care
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Right to work in the UK
