We are working with a prestigious automotive dealership group in Haywards Heath, who are currently seeking a qualified and proficient Part-Time Bookkeeper for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, managing essential financial tasks with the potential to expand your role.
Key Responsibilities as a Book Keeper:
- Manage bookkeeping tasks using Xero (data entry, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, payroll preparation, cash book maintenance) - our client expects this to be 18 hours per week
- Ensure HMRC compliance
- Support cloud-based accounting processes
- Assist with additional tasks (e.g., HR, health & safety, insurance) if desired which can take your hours worked to 25 if desired by the successful candidate.
Ideal Book Keeper Profile:
- Qualified bookkeeper (AAT or equivalent preferred)
- Proficient in Xero, VAT returns, and payroll preparation
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- Familiarity with cloud accounting systems
- Additional skills in HR, first aid, or health & safety a plus
- Reliable, with a flexible approach to a routine 18-hour week
- Ability to start immediately
