-
Procurement: Manage the full procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers, including tendering, negotiation, and contract finalisation.
-
Contract Administration: Administer and manage all contractual aspects of the projects, including variations, claims, and extensions of time, ensuring compliance with contract terms (e.g., JCT, NEC).
-
Risk & Value Management: Proactively identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities. Implement effective value engineering strategies where appropriate.
-
Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor accounts, including payments, valuations, and dispute resolution.
-
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
-
Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Required: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a significant portion of that time spent in a senior role.
-

-
Education: A degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline.
-
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT, NEC), procurement processes, and cost control principles.
-
