Salary: £45,700 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (rotating shifts)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

CBW Staffing Solutions are working with a high-profile, client-direct commercial campus in Barbican to find a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a modern, forward-thinking environment where your expertise will be valued and rewarded.
This is a Monday-to-Friday schedule and a rotating shift pattern, offering excellent work-life balance. You’ll be the go-to person for fabric and general maintenance tasks across the estate—no two days will be the same.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers - Re-set
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts):
- Week 1: 07:00am – 16:00pm
- Week 2: 10:00am – 19:00pm
- On-call rota with additional payments

- Level 3 Electrical certification
- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
- Hands-on skills across multiple trades (fabric, basic mechanical/electrical)
