Job Description
We are looking to recruit HGV Class 2 &/Or 7.5 tonne drivers for a company based in the West Hallam (DE7) area. This role involves operating Class 2 curtain sider vehicles on day shifts, with start times between 04:00 and 08:00. The work includes making deliveries to businesses nationwide, along with occasional light handball and collections, using hand held POD,s, ensuring loads are scrapped securely before manoeuvring and carrying out daily vehicle checks . The work is Monday to Friday with occasional weekend overtime offered during the busier periods.
Pay Rates – Monday to Friday – Days – 7.5 tonne & Class 2
£15.00 per hour (PAYE)
£20.00 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence Or HGV 7.5 Tonne (Category C1)
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
