As an Experienced Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing our guests with a welcoming, efficient, and memorable dining experience. Your detailed responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Core Responsibilities & Expectations:
Guest Service Excellence:
Greeting guests warmly upon arrival, managing reservations, and seating them in a timely manner.
Presenting menus, providing detailed explanations of our dishes, making recommendations based on guest preferences, and answering questions about ingredients or potential allergens.
Taking food and beverage orders accurately and entering them into our point-of-sale (POS) system.
Service & Operations:
Serving courses promptly and ensuring the quality and presentation of all items meet our high standards before they reach the table.
Proactively monitoring and anticipating guest needs throughout their meal, refilling drinks, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
Preparing accurate bills, presenting them to guests, and processing payments via cash or card.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked service station and dining area at all times, including setting and clearing tables.
Teamwork & Professionalism:
Communicating effectively and cooperating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service flow.
Assisting colleagues during busy periods and contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Handling any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
